West Ham to sell Ashton
West Ham to sell Ashton
The England striker, Dean Ashton, is for sale this season. The 25-year old is rated £7m.
The injury plagued striker has played only four games for West Ham this season, and has been injured and out since September 2008. He is fit now and Zola insists he will start with Carlton Cole next season. But, it seems the Hammers might sell him if offered a good price.
The highly talented striker had been compared to Alan Shearer in his style of play, but, injuries had always been a problem for this otherwise prolific scorer. The injury problems started when he was playing for England back in 2006 and his missed the whole of the 2007 season.
His contract with West Ham is until 2013. Everton is the club keen to sign him.
