Chelsea make opening offer to sign Samu Omorodion
Chelsea have made an opening offer worth €40 million to sign Atletico Madrid striker Samu Omorodion, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The west London giants are looking to add another marksman to their squad and they have been linked with several names lately.
The club are clearly not in a position to spend big amid PSR limits and they are likely to sign a young striker with immense potential.
Di Marzio has today claimed that the Blues have made an opening bid to sign Omorodion, but the proposal has already been rejected.
Atletico consider the youngster as one for the future. They are reluctant to lose his services for less than his €80 million release clause.
The Blues are unlikely to meet the demands of Atletico. The hierarchy are now expected to look at alternative options in the market.
Aston Villa's Jhon Duran is one of the top names on their radar, but they are reluctant to pay the £40m fee and prefer a swap move instead.
