Martins eyes Wolfsburg move
Newcastle striker Obafemi Martins is looking forward to quitting the club and trying his luck elsewhere, according to a German report. Wolfsburg are believed to be closing in on the Nigerian forward.
"The Bundesliga will soon be the best league in the world," he said in the Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung.
"Therefore Wolfsburg excites me. I hope the transfer happens."
The Greens are believed to have made their first offer of around £7 million to lure the forward to the club.
