Stoke City boss Tony Pulis has given Jonathan Woodgate 3 weeks to prove that he is still capable of playing Premier League football.
Woodgate has joined Stoke on a trial basis and if all goes to plan, he will be offered a 2 year contract at the Britannia Stadium.
Woodgate was released by Tottenham after suffering several injuries at White Hart Lane. The club then only offered him a pay-as-you-play deal at the Lane.
