Chelsea have made a 15m GBP bid for Romelu Lukaku. The highly rated Belgian striker plays for Anderlecht and has been linked with a host of top European clubs in recent weeks.
Lukaku has already scored twice in 10 games for the full Belgium international side, at the tender age of 18 years old.
The 6 foot 4 striker is being likened to Didier Drogba, and it seems that Andre Villas-Boas is on the look out for a long term replacement for the Ivorian forward.
According to reports, Chelsea's 15m GBP bid is the first official offer for the player.
