Taarabt sale wont start QPR deals

Taarabt sale won't start QPR deals

21 July 2011 - 09:11

Queens Park Rangers are not intending to spend the cash from any sale of Adel Taarabt to Paris St. Germain. PSG are locked in talks with QPR regarding a move for the attacking midfielder.

  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts

  • Taarabt had an excellent season last year with Rangers, guiding them to the Premier League.

However the former Tottenham man is desperate to quit London for a move home to France.

"Flavio Briatore is dealing with all the transfers at the moment. He's dealing with PSG and Adel himself," QPR boss Neil Warnock told Sky Sports News.

"I've just got to wait until he tells me one way or another. It would be nice to get it done because we've got to plan ahead.

"Adel wins matches. He would set the Premier League on fire. I hope things break down if I'm honest.

"You've just got to move on. I don't think I'll be getting any of the money. I've just got to look for Bosmans and look for shrewd acquisitions, loan players etc.

"Try and do it on the smallest transfer fee there's ever been. We'll be trying to survive on that."
