Cristiano Ronaldo has made peace with former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho and wished his fellow countryman the best for the future. The pair fell out at the end of last season after Jose accused Ronaldo of "lacking class".
"English football will miss Jose Mourinho," said Ronaldo.
"He is a great manager.
"He won a lot of things in England and the titles speak for themselves.
"Maybe he wants a new experience but I wish him all the best."
Ronaldo did not say whether he felt Mourinho's exit would have an adverse effect on Chelsea's title challenge this term.
