Sneijder confident on Man Utd move

Sneijder confident on Man Utd move

01 August 2011 - 03:13

Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder has reopened the door on a move to Manchester United. Sneijder has been chased by United all summer; with talk of a 35m price tag to purchase the Dutch international midfielder.

  • Chelsea want to sign Lyon star to replace Jadon Sancho
  • Arsenal want to bring Aymeric Laporte back to England

  • "What will happen? We will see," Sneijder said on Sunday.

"There is always a chance that something will happen, but we will see.

"There is always speculation. I've said before, I've played for almost 10 years at the highest level and every year there is speculation."

Sneijder has been in the form of his life for Inter, helping them to Champions League glory and also his national team The Netherlands, whom he helped take to the World Cup final last year in South Africa.

Meanwhile, Man Utd boss Sir Alex Ferguson admitted that there is still room for improvement in his squad, particularly in midfield.

"It's an area we have to find a solution for and that is why we played Tom Cleverley today. Physically he is not the strongest but he is wiry and has a great idea of the game," said the United boss.
