Arsenal to open talks for Keisuke Honda?

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is weighing up a move for CSKA Moscow midfielder Keisuke Honda. Arsene Wenger plans to replace Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas with the Japanese midfielder.

  • Honda is widely regarded to be the finest footballer of his generation in Japan, and this year he helped his country win the Asia Cup.



    The midfielder arrived on the scene at Dutch side VVV Venlo, where he impressed with a goal to game ratio of nearly 1 to 3. After two seasons in Holland, Honda made a move to Russia where he is currently playing for CSKA Moscow.



    The Japanese international is planning talks with Wenger; who already has Japanese midfielder Ryo Miyaichi at his disposal.



    Honda is valued at around 18m GBP by CSKA Moscow.
