Liverpool are ready to end Craig Bellamy's spell at Man City and bring the Welshman to Anfield, but only if the Citizens let the striker leave the club on a free transfer.
The 32 year old has been told he has no future at City and that he can leave the club; and Liverpool are ready to offer an olive branch to Bellamy and use him as a backup striker for partnership Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll.
Bellamy is also being monitored by Sunderland.
