Tottenham are considering a move for Barcelona defender Marc Bartra. The centre back is surplus to requirements at the Nou Camp, and the Spanish side have made several players available for sale after an expensive summer.

Reports indicate that Spurs will pay up to 4.5m GBP to land the Spain under 21 starlet, who apparently has only one year remaining on his current deal at Barca.



Bartra is regarded by many to be one of the best young prospects to come out of the Barcelona B team in recent years, but has been told he will struggle to find first team football ahead of Carles Puyol and Gerard Pique.
