Ancelotti: no Dida axe

08 October 2007 - 23:06

AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti has insisted that he never had any intention of dropping Brazilian goalkeeper Dida at any time, even after the Celtic incident.

  • Man Utd star preparing farewell video ahead of transfer
  • Chelsea winger suffers head injury vs Nottingham Forest
  • "I never considered dropping Dida. I think he remains a great goalkeeper who, like everyone, makes mistakes, but we never thought of replacing him," assured Ancelotti.

Dida's future at Milan was questioned after he theatrically fell to the floor after a Celtic fan slapped him.
