Ancelotti: no Dida axe

AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti has insisted that he never had any intention of dropping Brazilian goalkeeper Dida at any time, even after the Celtic incident.

"I never considered dropping Dida. I think he remains a great goalkeeper who, like everyone, makes mistakes, but we never thought of replacing him," assured Ancelotti.



Dida's future at Milan was questioned after he theatrically fell to the floor after a Celtic fan slapped him.
