Wolfsburg misfit Diego is on the verge of completing a move to Atletico Madrid; in a transfer worth around 12m GBP.

Diego had revealed to German press earlier in the summer that he wanted to leave Wolfsburg and would prefer a move to Spain.



As Atletico sold their best assets Diego Forlan to Inter Milan and Sergio Aguero to Man City; Diego has emerged as the best replacement so far.
