Real Madrid's young defender Raphael Varane has praised the impact coach Jose Mourinho has had on his development as a player.
Varane joined Real Madrid from Ligue 2 side RC Lens and has made a good start to his Real career, playing three matches and scoring a spectacular goal (against Rayo Vallecano). He has put his performances down to Jose Mourinho's tedious efforts.
"He [Mourinho] knows exactly what a youngster like me needs in order to become a better player. His training methods are of the highest level," Varane was quoted as saying by AS.
"It's true that everything is going very fast for me at the moment. I wasn't even training with the first team yet at Lens one year ago. Now I've worn the jersey of Real Madrid in a full Santiago Bernabeu."
