13 October 2007 - 08:56

Harry Redknapp is keen on bringing Nathan Dyer to Portsmouth in the January transfer window. Redknapp had worked with the 19-year-old when he was the manager of the Saints and reportedly admires the player.

  • Chelsea to sign Barcelona star on loan in January?
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Wolves, Estevao & Lavia start

  • Portsmouth are looking for another right midfielder since Gary O'Neil left the club during the summer.

"I was at their game against West Brom but I wasn't watching Andrew Surman - he got dropped," Adams told the Southern Daily Echo.

"I quite like the look of Nathan Dyer and he's one we've been looking at for a while.

"When Harry says 'We need somebody on the right, do you know anyone?' I have to come up with options.

"I watched Dyer against West Brom on Saturday and he's a good, young player.

"But yes, we've been watching Dyer."
