Inter looking at Ramsey

Inter looking at Ramsey

26 October 2011 - 15:16

Troubled Serie A side Inter Milan have reportedly made Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey their top target for the January transfer window.

  • Chelsea expected to sell striker after loan deal
  • Arsenal defender misses training ahead of Man Utd game

  • A report in Corriere Della Sport claims that Inter will test Arsenal's resolve with a €20 million offer, in a bid to shore up their underperforming midfield.

Although happy at Arsenal, it is thought that Ramsey might be interested in a move to the former Italian champions to win more silverware.

In case a deal is agreed, it is believed that Wenger will want midfielder Ricky Alvarez in exchange. Arsenal scouted Alvarez extensively and it was widely thought that he would join the London based club in the summer, but instead opted to sign for Inter instead.

Ramsey came to Arsenal from Cardiff in a £4.8 million deal in June 2008.
