Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has reportedly stepped up his interest in Gent midfielder Yassine El Ghanassy. The young left winger is highly rated in Belgium.
Mancini's scouting network have been impressed with the way El Ghanassy has developed in recent years, and the 21 year old just recently received his first full cap for his adopted homeland Belgium.
Gent will not let their star midfielder leave on the cheap though, as Belgian press report an asking price of around 4.5m GBP.
Several other clubs in Europe have been linked with a move for El Ghanassy, including Celtic and Fiorentina.
