Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is certain that the Citizens' career of Carlos Tevez is definitely over. The Italian has repeatedly suggested the Argentine would be sold, and he has been forced to reiterate his comments yesterday after suggestions that a surprise return could be on the cards.
"I don't think so. I know he is in Argentina. I don't know what he is doing," said Mancini, when asked if there was a chance Tevez could yet play for City again this season.
There had been suggestions that Mancini would be willing to forgive Tevez, as earlier in the month he said: "If he apologises to the squad and to me then everything will be as before."
However, it appears that City are trying their best to find a solution that will allow the Argentinian to quit the Etihad and find a new club. Inter Milan are still believed to be Tevez's preferred destination.
