Henry: it was good to move

Henry: it was good to move

14 October 2007 - 09:55

Arsenal striker Thierry Henry has claimed that it was a good thing that he left the Premiership side for Barcelona. Henry admitted that his spell sometimes proved more of a hindrance than a help.

  • Chelsea want to sign another Man Utd star?
  • Man Utd handed injury boost ahead of Chelsea clash

  • At one stage, Cesc Fabregas had revealed at times that the players were starstruck, and often inhibited playing with the Frenchman.

Henry replied: "I agreed with them [Fabregas' comments] completely."

He added in the Sunday Telegraph: "Because of my seniority, the fact that I was captain and my habit of screaming for the ball, they would sometimes give it to me even when I was not in the best position. So in that sense it was good for the team that I moved on."
