Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has reassured club fans that Steven Gerrard has not picked injury complications after suffering with an ankle infection. Gerrard's recovery is reportedly on track.
Liverpool were keen to ensure that fans were on the same page with regards to Gerrard's injury, despite the England international yet to have an official return date.<br />
“Steven is getting closer to coming back but we cannot put a date on it. There’s been no setback. We have said all along that we are really positive about his recuperation.<br />
“Steven’s progress has been excellent and he will be back sooner rather than later," said Dalglish.
