Chelsea are amongst the clubs monitoring Bruno Cortes, Botafogo's on loan left back. The Premier League side are considering a move for a player who will fill in as Ashley Cole's deputy at Stamford Bridge.

Whilst Cortes' agent would not confirm the club interested, he did admit offers from the Premier League.<br />

"I had contact from an English club, but I cannot say the name," Cortes' agent Flavio&nbsp;Trivella told&nbsp;<em>Calciomercato.com</em>.<br />

"However, it is one of the many teams interested in Cortes."
