Preview: Liverpool vs QPR

10 December 2011 - 14:39

Seventh placed Liverpool will host twelth placed Queens Park Rangers today, as Liverpool prepare for the arrival of the London club to Anfield, wary of their poor record against clubs in the bottom half of the league table.

 • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
 • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
 • Liverpool have a terrible record this year against the Premier League's smaller clubs, whilst they have a formidable one against teams at the top of the pile. Interestingly, Liverpool have also not dropped many points at home this year, as they remain unbeaten at Anfield; so this is sure to be an interesting tie.
A win today for the Reds will see them keep the pace on a top four spot, as they currently sit just three points behind Arsenal and Newcastle.
TEAMS
Lucas Leiva will be missing through injury, and Jay Spearing will be out through suspension. Paddy Kenny, QPR's first choice keeper, remains on the sidelines, but Radek Cerny will take his place in the team.
