Manchester United are preparing an offer for Argentinian midfielder Lucas Biglia, currently playing for Belgian giants Anderlecht. Sir Alex Ferguson is looking for a replacement for Darren Fletcher, who faces a spell out.
The Red Devils have turned their attention to the transfer market, after reliable midfielder Darren Fletcher took time out of the game to focus on recovery from a stomach issue.<br />
Biglia has been courted by many of the biggest clubs in Europe. Arsenal are amongst those clubs interested, and had been linked with a 5m GBP move for the Anderlecht man, but recently have turned their attentions away from the combative midfielder.<br />
When the transfer window reopens, United are apparently ready to bring the player to Old Trafford for discussions over a permanent move.
