Blackburn owners Venky's could make a shock move for former club legend Alan Shearer should they decide to part company with current manager Steve Kean. Shearer has been out of football manager since stepping down as Newcastle manager in 2009.

  • Bringing in Shearer would be a huge boost for club fans who are already frustrated with the Rao brothers for their faith in current manager Kean. Shearer famously helped guide Blackburn to the Premier League title and is a club legend at Ewood Park.<br />

Blackburn slumped to a 2-1 defeat to West Brom at the weekend, and Kean reportedly just has one game left to save his job, with the game against Bolton on Tuesday night.
