Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson expects to have three or four of his younger players leave on loan in January, as Federico Macheda looks set to complete a loan move to Premier League rivals QPR.

  • <span>"I would like to get one or two out on loan, particularly the young strikers, but at the moment we don't need to do anything," said Ferguson.</span><br />

    <span>Darron Gibson has also been linked with a move away from Old Trafford, with Aston Villa and Swansea both interested in the striker.</span><br />

    <span>Meanwhile, Mame Biram Diouf could also leave on loan, with West Ham and Doncaster both interested in the burly striker.</span>
