Galatasaray planning Dirk Kuyt bid

Turkish giants Galatasaray are planning to test the resolve of Liverpool with a 5m GBP bid for Dutch international Dirk Kuyt this month. The forward has found first team opportunities quite limited this year, and is considering a move away from Anfield.

The arrival and stunning form of Craig Bellamy this year has seen Kuyt slip down the pecking order at Anfield, and reportedly his agents are now ready to help their representative move away.<br />

Galatasaray are scouring Europe for a top striker and appear to have decided on Kuyt, with an offer of around 5m GBP expected to be sufficient.<br />

The only stumbling block could be personal terms; with the Dutchman expecting around 85,000 GBP per week to move to Turkey.
