No transfer business at Barcelona

No transfer business at Barcelona

14 January 2012 - 15:33

Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola insists that no transfer deals will be made during the January transfer window, despite injuries to David Villa and midfielder Ibrahim Affelay.

  • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
  • Man Utd set to hold contract talks with experienced star
  • Guardiola insists that instead of signing new players to replace those who are injured, he will have trust in his Barcelona B side and the youth that is coming through into the first team.&nbsp;<br />

Guardiola said: "We will fall back on our youth players until the end. Going to the market doesn't guarantee anything. From the very beginning we designed a small squad because we believe in our youth program."
