Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola insists that no transfer deals will be made during the January transfer window, despite injuries to David Villa and midfielder Ibrahim Affelay.
Guardiola insists that instead of signing new players to replace those who are injured, he will have trust in his Barcelona B side and the youth that is coming through into the first team. <br />
Guardiola said: "We will fall back on our youth players until the end. Going to the market doesn't guarantee anything. From the very beginning we designed a small squad because we believe in our youth program."
