QPR keen on Heurelho Gomes loan move

18 January 2012 - 07:26

Queens Park Rangers have stepped up their interest in Tottenham goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes. The Brazilian shot stopper has been told that he is free to leave White Hart Lane, and the R's have made a loan offer for his services.

  • Chido Obi to leave Man Utd on loan
  • Chelsea star suffers hamstring injury on international duty
  • The Brazilian goalkeeper is currently third choice at Spurs behind Brad Freidel and Carlo Cudicini, and the keeper has been told he can leave on loan if he finds a suitable club.

London rivals QPR have identified Gomes as a potential target and are keen to make the keeper their number 1 ahead of Paddy Kenny.

The 30-year-old could be available at the end of the year for around 2.5 million GBP.
