Nigerian international defender Taye Taiwo is hopeful that a move from AC Milan to Queens Park Rangers on loan can be completed this week. The left back is looking forward to linking up with his new team mates as he begins a five month spell in the capital.
"I'm happy with the opportunity to play at QPR," Taiwo told BBC Sport.
"I don't know if there are professional footballers who just love to pick up monthly salary by sitting on the bench. I'm not in that category.
"I need to settle down quickly and adapt to the rhythm that comes with playing in England."
