Nedum Onuoha not moving to QPR... yet

21 January 2012 - 08:57

Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha will not be moving to Queens Park Rangers this weekend, despite reports of Mark Hughes' side making a 3.7m GBP transfer move for the former England under-21 defender.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • "Manchester City officials have not given Nedum permission to meet QPR or any other clubs' officials with a view to holding face-to-face discussions regarding a loan deal or permanent move," Dr Anthonia Onuoha, the player's mother and agent revealed.<br /><br />"The latest report of a move to QPR this weekend is, therefore, totally inaccurate. Nedum has two-and-a-half years left on his current Manchester City contract and will only make a move that is right both for his career and family circumstances. We have a number of clubs interested in him. He will weigh up his options before making any decision."
