Arsenal manager in no rush to buy

23 January 2012 - 11:13

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is in no rush to buy, despite watching his side slump to a third consecutive league defeat in a row. Last night's 2-1 defeat to United was a harsh reminder for Wenger that his squad has no recognised full backs due to injury.

  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?
  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?

  • When asked if he planned to buy any new players this month, Wenger said: "I don't. Spending money is not the target. It never has been in life.

"We need our players back. We missed 10 players. When you see what we created in the second half, it's important for us to get the players back."
