Arsenal manager in no rush to buy

23 January 2012 - 11:13

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is in no rush to buy, despite watching his side slump to a third consecutive league defeat in a row. Last night's 2-1 defeat to United was a harsh reminder for Wenger that his squad has no recognised full backs due to injury.

  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • When asked if he planned to buy any new players this month, Wenger said: "I don't. Spending money is not the target. It never has been in life.<br />

"We need our players back. We missed 10 players. When you see what we created in the second half, it's important for us to get the players back."
