25 January 2012 - 06:30

Queens Park Rangers have finally completed the loan signing of Nigerian left back Taye Taiwo, and the player will stay in London until the end of the season. AC Milan have decided to let the unhappy defender leave as he is desperate for first team football.

  • Predicted Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Crystal Palace, Evans starts
  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal

  • Taiwo had been linked with a loan move to Arsenal, but QPR manager Mark Hughes won the race for his coveted signature yesterday.

"It’s a new and exciting challenge for me and one I am very much looking forward to", Taiwo said.

"I’m very grateful to Mark Hughes for bringing me here. It is always nice for a player when you know the manager wants you and I will repay his faith in me."
