Bolton are reportedly weighing up a move for Real Sociedad boss Chris Coleman. Coleman, who was sacked as the Cottagers boss towards the closing stages of last season, was appointed the manager of the relegated Spanish side over the summer.
Colemanâs advisor Alan Smith has said: "Bolton have asked Real Sociedad for permission to speak to Chris.
âIt's a very interesting proposition for him to return to The Premier League, but at the same time he is happy in Spain. We have already turned down an enquiry from another English club."
Earlier, Birmingham City boss Steve Bruce had confirmed the Trotters had tried to approach him but were denied permission by the club.
