Everton complete Kostas Manolas deal

Everton have completed a move for Greek defender Kostas Manolas, after a fee of £500,000 has been agreed with AEK Athens. The Toffees have already agreed personal terms with the centre back, who will pen a four year contract at Goodison Park.

AEK Athens have been struggling financially in recent years, and have been forced to part with some of their best players, and Manolas heads the departures.<br />

Manolas had a 4 million Euro release clause, but the cash strapped club were forced to sell the player cheaply this month.&nbsp;<br />

Everton have beaten Newcastle, Everton and Blackburn to Manolas' signature.
