Barcelona are following the progress of German youth international goalkeeper Marc Andre ter Stegen, as they look to find a long term replacement for first choice keeper Victor Valdes.
Tottenham were last year linked with a move for the Borussia Monchengladbach shot stopper, but as yet have not made an official offer for the 19 year old.
"The fact is that Barcelona scout for many players. He has a contract until 2015 with Borussia, with no exit clause," said ter Stegen's agent.
"The lad is just 19 - and will earn his merits at Borussia first."
