Czech Republic captain Tomas Rosicky has put pen to paper on a new contract at the Emirates. The player has signed a fresh one year contract with the North London side, who he joined in 2006.
Since arriving in 2006, Rosicky has played 156 times scoring 19 goals, but injuries and time on the substitutes bench have meant less playing time than he would have expected.
But recent good performances and the faith of Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger have ensured the Czech international would secure a new contract at the Emirates.
"It's a great honour to sign a new deal with Arsenal, I love the club and am proud to wear the Arsenal shirt," said Rosicky.
"The manager, my team-mates, the staff and the supporters - everyone plays their part in making this a great club, and I feel privileged to be a part of it.
"I believe we have a really talented group of players and, together with the manager, the future looks bright.
"It's always been my goal to win trophies here at Arsenal, and I will fight hard to achieve my dreams here."
