Tomas Rosicky signs new Arsenal deal

Czech Republic captain Tomas Rosicky has put pen to paper on a new contract at the Emirates. The player has signed a fresh one year contract with the North London side, who he joined in 2006.

Since arriving in 2006, Rosicky has played 156 times scoring 19 goals, but injuries and time on the substitutes bench have meant less playing time than he would have expected.<br />

But recent good performances and the faith of Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger have ensured the Czech international would secure a new contract at the Emirates.<br />
