  • Arsenal's recent Premier League form has been nothing short of fantastic, and the Gunners are now one point ahead of Spurs and are hopeful of guaranteeing Champions League qualification for next year.

Arsenal manager Wenger has requested that his players remain focused for the rest of the season: "We have created momentum and we want to keep that going.

"Let's focus on the next game. We have to battle absolutely from the first to the last minute in every single game."

The North London side won 1-0 at Everton last night thanks to a Thomas Vermaelen header in the ninth minute, and held on to earn all three points despite a contentious decision by the referee to rule out a goal from Royston Drenthe.

Wenger praised his players and added: "These players have always been brilliant even when we went through a difficult patch."
