24 March 2012 - 16:06

West Brom manager Roy Hodgson is hoping to tie on loan Birmingham goalkeeper Ben Foster to a permanent deal at the Hawthorns. WBA have enjoyed the services of Foster for the duration of the season, and are hoping to wrap up a permanent move for the shot stopper.

  • "We need an answer because, at the moment, there a lot of talented keepers looking for clubs. We are in a position to attract people to the club, we can offer them Premier League football, good wages, a good football environment," said Hodgson.

Birmingham are currently 7th place in the Championship, still with a shot of promotion via the play-offs, and are believed to want to bring Foster back to St Andrews if they return to the Premier League next season.
