Wenger focused despite Arsenal form

26 March 2012 - 06:21

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger remains focused despite the Gunners' rich vein of form. Arsenal have won their last 7 league games, leaving them 8 points ahead of Chelsea in the race for 3rd and 4th spot.

  • Arsenal to swap Gabriel Jesus for Inter Milan star?
  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • Wenger has completely turned around Arsenal's fortunes from the early season, as the Gunners were struggling to find their best form and the low point came with an 8-2 defeat at the hands of old rivals Manchester United.

Despite the Gunners reaching 3rd place in the league, he wants his players to remain focused: "We have come through a very difficult period. We have learnt from that and must keep our feet on the ground and focus on the next game.

"Let's first see how we finish and then we analysis it all after the end of the season - just see if we have the quality to maintain this consistency until the end of the season and then we can say: 'Okay, look'.

"That is not done yet, there are eight games to go and things can change."
