FA quiet on Glenn Hoddle rumours

27 March 2012 - 01:59

The FA have refused to comment on reports that Glenn Hoddle has declared his interest in taking the vacant England job. Fabio Capello resigned as England manager in February, and a host of big names have been linked with the role.

  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • Harry Redknapp remains the favourite to take the role, but Glenn Hoddle admitted that he is desperate to take the position yesterday when he said: "If I died my life would be incomplete."

"I am currently abroad but I am up to speed about what is being said, however the FA have been consistent and we refuse to be drawn on the selection of Fabio Capello's successor," said Adrian Bevington, one of the four selectors of the England manager at the FA.
