AC Milan rule out Thiago Silva sale

28 March 2012 - 13:35

AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani has no plans to sell his star defender, Thiago Silva, after Barcelona reportedly made an enquiry for the Brazilian cenre back. Silva has been in exceptional form for the Rossoneri this year.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • "If [Barcelona president] Sandro Rosell asks me for Thiago Silva, I will reply that the player is not for sale," said Adriano Galliani.

The Italian club signed the 27-year-old from Fluminese in 2008, and the defender has since gone on to become one of the most important players at the club.
