Inter Milan won't rule out Mario Balotelli move

09 April 2012 - 07:00

Inter Milan director Marco Branca has refused to rule out a move for striker Mario Balotelli. The forward has fallen out of favour at the City of Manchester after a number of high profile incidents, culminating in a red card in the 1-0 defeat to Arsenal on Sunday.

  • Predicted Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Crystal Palace, Evans starts
  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal

  • However, former club Inter Milan are expected to make a massive transfer bid to bring the striker back to the San Siro. Rumours that Balotelli would be returning to Italy were heightened last week, after he strolled into an Inter press conference at the unveiling of their new manager.

"We'll see in a few months, but we never closed the door to him and never will turn our backs on a potential return," Branca said ."We need to change next season and find the right mix between old and new, trying to understand what will be at our disposal for the transfer market.

"We will certainly promote four or five players from the youth team and evaluate their capabilities in pre-season training."
