Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta will miss the remaining games of the Premier League season, after the former Everton man severely damaged his ankle against Wigan in a 2-1 defeat this week.
Arteta hobbled off early on in that game, and is now expected to miss the remainder of the season through injury.<br />
According to reports, Arsene Wenger is unhappy that his medical team allowed Arteta to play on, despite severely injuring his ankle.<br />
Unfortunately for the Gunners, both Wigan goals were scored when Arteta was off of the pitch receiving medical treatment.
