After Arsenal's 0-0 draw with Chelsea on Saturday, Dutch striker Robin van Persie told reporters that he has no plans to quit the Emirates for a move to Barcelona.
Robin van Persie had been pictured leaving Barcelona's club hotel in London on Wednesday night, but ruled out suggestions that his visit would be regarding a potential transfer to the Nou Camp.
In recent years, Barcelona have often purchased the Gunners' best players, even as far back as the days of Marc Overmars and Emmanuel Petit. In more recent years, Alexander Hleb and of course Cesc Fabregas have swapped the Emirates for the Nou Camp.
However, van Persie denied talk of a midweek transfer meeting with Barcelona, instead insisting that he was there to see his friends Cesc Fabregas and Ibrahim Afellay as they prepared for their Champions League semi-final with Chelsea.
