Damba Ba to sign new Newcastle deal

Damba Ba to sign new Newcastle deal

22 April 2012 - 09:57

Demba Ba will finally agree terms on a new contract at the Sports Direct Arena, as the Senegalese striker is believed to have agreed a brand new four year contract with his club. Last week, Ba suggested that he would like to make a move to PSG at some point in the future.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Arsenal handed huge boost ahead of Bournemouth clash

  • However, despite talk of a move away from Newcastle, the striker will repay the faith of Alan Pardew and Mike Ashley and agree a brand new deal.

It is understood that Demba Ba had a clause in his contract that would allow him to leave the Toon for as little as £6 million should a "bigger club" enter the race for his coveted signature.

However, eyefootball understands that Ba will earn a massive £85,000 per week under the terms of his new deal, ending talk of a summer move away from the club.
