Guardiola open to job offers

Guardiola open to job offers

25 May 2012 - 15:23

Pep Guardiola has offered hope to the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea, after admitting that he would be interested in a quick return to football management. The Spaniard will step down from his Barcelona duties after the weekend.

 • Serie A giants want to sign Liverpool goalkeeper
 • Robert Sanchez dropped from Chelsea XI vs Aston Villa
 • Barcelona will take on Athletic Bilbao in the final of the Copa Del Rey, giving Guardiola one final chance to lift another honour in a trophy-laden spell as coach at the Camp Nou.
Whilst Liverpool appear to have turned their full attention to Wigan manager Roberto Martinez, as they scour Europe for a replacement for Kenny Dalglish; Chelsea could also be in the running despite interim coach Roberto di Matteo guiding the Blues to both the FA Cup and Champions League success.
Guardiola said: "For the next months I have to charge my batteries. I will rest and I will wait. I will be ready, if one club wants me, if they seduce me, I will train again."
