Guardiola open to job offers
Pep Guardiola has offered hope to the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea, after admitting that he would be interested in a quick return to football management. The Spaniard will step down from his Barcelona duties after the weekend.
Barcelona will take on Athletic Bilbao in the final of the Copa Del Rey, giving Guardiola one final chance to lift another honour in a trophy-laden spell as coach at the Camp Nou.
Whilst Liverpool appear to have turned their full attention to Wigan manager Roberto Martinez, as they scour Europe for a replacement for Kenny Dalglish; Chelsea could also be in the running despite interim coach Roberto di Matteo guiding the Blues to both the FA Cup and Champions League success.
Guardiola said: "For the next months I have to charge my batteries. I will rest and I will wait. I will be ready, if one club wants me, if they seduce me, I will train again."
