Atletico Madrid rule out Falcao transfer

30 May 2012 - 05:37

Atletico Madrid have ruled out away for Radamel Falcao, the Colombian international striker. Falcao helped Atletico Madrid to the Europa League title this season, and Chelsea have been linked with the player.

  • Chelsea midfielder won't join Premier League rivals

  • Falcao scored 24 goals in 34 La Liga games this year, sparking a flurry of interest in his services from all over Europe.

"Falcao still has four years to go on his contract with us. It's silly to say now if he's staying or if he's going," club chairman Enrique Cerezo said.

"I really don't know anything about Falcao leaving, I just know that he signed a contract with us and that contract states he can stay with us in the next four seasons."
