Dirk Kuyt completes Fenerbahce move

Fenerbahce have completed the signing of Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt for a fee of around 700,000 GBP. The player has put pen to paper on a three year contract at Anfield, earning a reported 2.2m GBP per year in Turkey.

Dirk Kuyt became a popular figure at Anfield, with some important goals in big games over the course of his six year Liverpool career.<br />

Liverpool confirmed the move announcing on their website:&nbsp;"Liverpool Football Club can confirm that Dirk Kuyt has advised the club that he has today reached an agreement with Fenerbah&ccedil;e SK over a move to Turkey, and the transfer is expected to be completed in the next few days.<br />

"Everyone at Liverpool Football Club would like to wish Dirk all the very best for the future and thank him for his contribution to the club."
