Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has asked his team mate Theo Walcott to put pen to paper on a new contract at the Emirates. Walcott has so far stalled on agreeing a new deal with Arsene Wenger's team, and the Gunners are at risk of losing the winger on a free transfer in the summer.
Walcott has reportedly already turned down one contract at Arsenal, and Gunners' fans have called on the board to push for a larger salary for the England international.<br />
Now, Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is hopeful that Walcott will stay at the club and sign a new deal.<br />
Wilshere quipped: "Theo's future is down to him and the boss to sort out and I hope he signs. He has been great for us. He's an English lad and great to have around."<br />
There have been reports of interest from Chelsea once his contract expires in the summer.
